SSD on RAID controller or off?

Thread Starter
Hi all,

If my setup is 2 drives in RAID 0 along with an SSD...Should the SSD be on the raid controller (say drives are on ports 1 + 2 and SSD then on 3 where these ports are set to RAID) or should it be off...Where as ports 5+6 can be selected to be AHCI and not RAID? Does it not matter?

Does this make sense?

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks very much.
