2 Very Simple Questions!

Question 1
ill be very quick with this. But i want to erase all of my HDD so i can reainstall FRESH!!! I found Darik's Boot and Nuke but what do you think?

Question 2
I know this question isn't for this part of thread but or well .
I just picked up a very old computer and want make it into a server computer only problem is it doesn't have wireless I have a few cables and routers laying around is there anyway I can connect it to my main computer or something without buying a new wireless card?

if you have a Windows disk...all you need to do is use the disk to format and partition the drive while reinstalling the OS...no need to use any of those hdd wipers

yeah when ive done that old windows has been left there with programs?

that shouldnt be the case if you deleted the partitions and formated the drive and then recreated the partitions...you could even do that and then format the new partitions one more time

just put the win 7 cd in...boot to the cd go through the little process till it gets to the screen where it shows which drive to install win 7 on...then hit advance options on the bottom...then delete the partitions and then format the whole disk and then partition what you want...either one large or multiple partitions and then like i said above you could even format the new partitions one more time

then just choose whatever partition you want to install windows on and then click continue or next to install windows
