not in any specific order

Mass Effect 2 (much better gameplay / management than ME1)
Batman: Arkham Asylum (fantastic)
Witcher 2 (beautiful, mature)
Bioshock

I feel Assassin's Creed is too simple, repetitive with too many pointless collectibles. Also the history tieins are annoying.

Fallout, Elder Scrolls and Mass Effect series are all good

Left 4 Dead 1 and 2. Although once you start getting good and start playing on the hard settings, your computer allies start becoming useless.

Divinity 2: The Dragon Knight Saga I was caught so offguard by this game as I had never even heard of it. IT OWNS..nothing like dual wielding bigass maces bashing some enemy face in...then turning into a dragon and raining fiery death upon your foes.

I remember a few years ago I enjoyed FEAR. I wonder why noone mentioned it before. It was kinda scary back then. Apart from that I must agree with the majority:

Fallout 1, 2, 3 and New Vegas + DLCs are great
Witcher 2 (I tried playing W1 after finishing W2 but it just seemed overcomplicated)
Mass Effect 2 (finished this weekend - just great! MA1 - same story as with the Witcher 1)
Elder Scrolls (Oblivion and Skyrim soon)
Batman: Arkham Asylum
Bioshock (didn't enjoy too much)
