High res monitor overlooked?

Well this model is a few years old BUT its still high res and looks great. My friend has one and really for the money, its worth it all day. The Dell 3007wfp-hc. When you dont have 1200-1400 to spend on a new 30". Just a suggestion.

Wow, I've actually been preaching this for years.

You see the 3007WFP-HC is actually not inferior to the U3011 in almost any way.

I've debated with a number of people, and none of them could name anything past the panel revision - which if you know the quality of the 3007WFP-HC, you would know to ignore.

Basically, you get an absolute staple of the monitor industry for half the price it used to go for.. I really could not recommend it enough!

I got mine.. almost 3 years ago, directly from Dell as a Manufacturer Refurbished model - it was identical to my friend's brand-new one from 2008.

Dell don't sell it anymore, but I've purchased Dell monitors on eBay from reputable sellers and have always been pleased.

This is basically the best choice for a monitor in my eyes.. if you can afford it

in my search for a 30" monitor i was after that monitor. i think that's better than the 3008.
but ebay sellers could only do $700-800 which was a little much for a monitor without a warranty.
i prefer that older style stand to the u3011's. (not that it would matter to me because i was planning to get wall/desk mounts).

the good thing about getting those older monitors is they have stood the test of time.

People should hire you to bump for 'em.

Thanks for the info though, something I'll look into when I get a monitor myself.

That really is a smokin deal! Wish I would have found somthing like that before I threw down for the U3011, but still no regrets. 30's are the way to go 100% I don't know how I lived without it for so long.

Have the Dell Ultra IPSs always had the aggressive AG coating? It bothered me on the u2711.
