$55 for one. How does this compare to the Xonar (DG, DS, DX) series? I'm thinking of picking this baby up if it compares to the DX.

Grab a Xonar...I would never touch a creative ever again.

Yeah, that's a great deal. Just a heads up, there was a sale on Xonar D1's and DX's on Newegg for $50 yesterday, it might still be going on.

I'd personally take a Xonar card over a Titanium card. Creative's drivers are really some of the worst.

Balanced use, really. I just want to step up from onboard and get a good deal at the same time. So I want to get the best card for around $50. It's to power my Promedia 2.1's.

For $50, you can't really go wrong. Unfortunately, the DX is no longer on sale and has returned to $69.99.
