Hyper TX3 vs Freezer 7 Pro Rev2

Thread Starter
Hi, i would like to collect some opinions on CoolerMaster Hyper TX3 vs Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev2

Why those 2 - they are available at a price i am willing to pay in the local store (everything else is 50% more).

Will be thankful for any opinions/experiences with those 2.

My target - to operate as silent as possible (running mostly internet on that PC) and eventually overclock on AM3(+) platform.

Edit: Liked Guru3d's review on the CM - but it lacked direct comparison to the AC.

The Hyper TX 3 works really good for me. It is pretty quiet at stock settings. I have mine at 100% all the time so it isn't silent for me. All in all it keeps my CPU under 50C at load even with my OC.

I was stuck in the same situation as you, I chose the TX3. My PC reaches 56° in Intel burn test but maxes out at 52 in Prime 95, I think the higher temps are caused by my poorish airflow MicroATX case (Intake fan on 7v due to noise).
