And true about kepler.
Coming from a beta office, all games are still in development in the beta process.
The problem I see, is instead of relying on professional offices, gaming companies are now relying on the public.
Look at BF3, for the first time ever, instead of just "us", it's you guys too and many of "you" don't understand what a beta is.
There are games that have looked FAR WORSE in a beta stage then BF3 but, they were private beta's or "exclusive"...For example, Witcher #1, Doom 3, Battlefield 2, CODBO (Couldn't run forward for @ a week)...
The point is, for the first time, the general public is really in a beta and none of you comprehend that the engine itself, isn't finished yet...That's why you only have 1 map, that's why you only have 32 or less map sizes...
To me, this is common sense stuff...The game isn't finished until it releases.
So basing your performance on an unfinished product to me, is ridiculous...It's not full capacity and you can't gauge how it will be.
Morrowind would be a VERY good example of that...Required a bottom line card to run the beta...And we all remember what it took to run at full blast...BF3 is no different nor is any game in a beta stage for that matter.
