[SP] AMD Bulldozer FX-Series Launch Date Confirmed by Micro Center - Page 6

I am thinking about getting this processor when it comes out but should I wait till the next series comes out when they work out all the kinks? Is the bulldozer gonna be bad ass or is it going to have issues?

Please let me know what you think. Right now I have the Phenom 965 and I can't get the memory higher than 1720Mhz and thats really pushing it. Will I be able to reach 2000Mhz or 2133MHz with the upcoming bulldozer?

Please let me know what you think.

Thanks...

Until AMD confirms the date+pricing everything else is BS.
Ok and I ask again. What incentive does MC have to lie about something like this? Why would a one of the biggest brick mortar stores in the US (at least to my knowledge) that specialize in PC parts lie about when they are selling a product? They aren't taking pre-orders so its not like they are getting people to rush to them to lay down money or anything like that.

I asked my friend who works at micro-center, he said when he founds out anything he'll tell me. Now I don't know if he actually has access to that information being that he is only in sales . So till then, ill tell you guys when I find out something. But I see no reason why to discredit this. It certainly has a lot more clout behind it than say other bulldozer news since an actual company and not some unknown shady source is saying this.

No one can answer that information off hand. It depends on the type of ram, mobo and memory controller being used. So until you get all that information to us and there have been benchmarks, the best answer you're gonna get is wait and see.

Re-read the head line it says its confirmed by Micro Center. Yet when you read the rumor its at softpedia.reason written by Sorin Nita, lol
This Sorin Nita person does not work for MC. he works fro softP and lives in Denmark. So how would he know? LOL You know more about it than he does

Here is the question Where is the proof? Answer: None:: given.
Its another BD lie, in a rapidly growing list. Thanks to AMD Marketing Practices, or the lack there of...
