Thread Starter
I have a logitech m510 mouse, however, it seems like the mouse is lagging, however i changed the batteries, and made sure the sensor is clean, it is on a mouse pad also. The usb receiver is on the back of my comp, but why must it lag?

I've been having the same problem.

For the past year I've been using a Logitech m305 mouse. A couple days ago I came home to find that it wasn't responding at all when I turned on my computer. The cursor didn't move whatsoever even after taking out the batteries/replacing them with new ones, putting the unifying receiver in a different usb port, and dusting off the lens. What surprised me the most was that it had been working PERFECTLY earlier that same morning. I don't know whether somebody had been screwing around with my computer while I was away at work, but now my mouse that was in fantastic working condition was suddenly "dead".

This contributed to my purchase of the m510 mouse. After setting up the new mouse, I played around with it for a few hours and saw that it was stuttering and skipping around the screen every-so-often.

I tried the mouse on one of our other home computers and it was having the same problems. After doing that I hooked up an old wired optical mouse (unknown HP model mouse) and tested it out. Of course the wired mouse ended up working flawlessly. I'll continue to use the wired mouse and see if it skips or lags. So far after using it for the past few hours I've noticed NO problems whatsoever.

My mx620 had a similar lagg problem
I bought a usb extension cable and plugged the dongle in,its about 10-15cm away from my mouse.
That solved all my problems smil3dbd4e4c2e742.gif
try plugging dongle in front ports if its close to the mouse?
