HD 6950 Toxic Sapphire. Flip a switch, unlock to a hd 6970 and call it a deal. You can;t go wrong with 2GB Vram.

Don't you want to wait for 28nm?

Here is my opinion, take it for what its worth.

I'd buy an a 6950 or 6970 depending on available models and price.

Yes nvidia beats amd currently with msaa enabled. But when you disable msaa amd is definitely faster.

I believe the msaa performance will increase with driver an patch updates.

When all the dusy settles i think am d will outperform the nvidia equivalents.

Seems to handle BF3 fine, but the big bottleneck with BF3, Crysis 2, and no doubt several future dx11 releases is the 1.25GB VRAM. Sadly, that's not even something that can be fixed with sli. There is a 2GB 570, 560ti, and even 560 i believe. Those or the 69xx would all be better options if you don't want to sacrifice hi-res textures for framerates.

Yeah, I would usually recommend a 6950, because of more VRAM.

Although I seen the benchmarks and even in Battlefield 3, the 570 keeps up or beats the bigger VRAM cards..

If you are using a single monitor, I would say 570. Dual then get a 6950.

Wait.... tessellation isn't in BF3 yet?

If that is the case AMD will be destroyed in that department, with their low amount of tessellation units compared to Nvidia.

I play on single, I prefer 6950 as the card offer me more affordable price than 570. Here in my place the difference of these two card is about $100.
