I would go with the HD 6950, because then you can add another later.

But don't buy on Newegg.

Get one off eBay. I got my HD 6950 for 180$.

It also doesn't hurt the resale value, so there's really no reason to buy new.

XFX 6950 1GB XXX edition, may aswell buy used if their warranty is still how it was before.

68xx cards only have one Xfire finger
