I know where you're coming from, trying to represent who's doing all the hard work, but think of it this way. Without the architect those structural engineers wouldn't know how to shape what they're building.

Just like how a cook doesn't need to know who, how and where his/her pots and pans are made, they just need to make a good tasty meal.
Sure they would. They would shape it in whatever way looks nice to them.

Which would invariably look terrible to everyone who isn't a structural engineer. This is why we have people who design things and people who do technical implementations.
