[Vortez] BitFenix Outlaw Review

The Outlaw is a mid-tower chassis with a difference. It features an inverted motherboard tray and indeed general layout with the option of having up to 7x cooling fans and at a price that everyone can afford. The big question is, at such a low-cost, does it really represent good value for money or should it be tossed to the side? Let’s begin our analysis of BitFenix Outlaw and find out!

how weird does it look with the gpu facing upwards? not a bad case for the price defo worth a punt!

I'm getting this only because of the inverted design.

Looks good

Edit: Have you guys really never seen reversed ATX before? Like TJ07's?

What about the TJ11?

TJ07 isn't inverted or rotated, some of Silverstone's other cases are (rotated 90*c) such as the Ravens. This is inverted by 180, so the GPUs are at the top. Theoretically, it should give good temps (on the GPU) with coolers that blow most of the air inside the case (Think MSI TFIII, AC AXP, Zalman VF3000, etc)... or at least slightly better airflow. But I'm getting it just because of the upside down design and that it opens from the other side. Makes it more convenient for me in my case (no pun intented).

Too bad it's such a budget case.

By the way, Project Nobility and Stiletto are both inverted ATX.

I know this is rotated by 180, I was giving an example of another orientation. And if you have never seen a reverse TJ07, you haven't been in this forums build log area. I didn't say that they were manufactured reversed. I would love to try a case reversed though

I thought they did.. but on the website it only shows the normal one?? So I just presumed. I did wonder though and I did see a reversed one on Scan a long time ago.

This case is too budget-ish.
Otherwise it could've been good...
