A 580 if you want to buy the best bang per buck single card ATM.
580 is too pricey for me but you're forgetting my question!! What about my resolution i am running right now? Is it ok to get the card? Any problems i will encounter? Cuz i might get it after all.

You're right. XBOX is pointless and does NOT run 1080p. Screw consoles LMAO. I would NEVER NEVER own one period. PC FTW.

Wait until the final game is released. So far both sides have a lot of problem with textures, there is no Ultra setting, flickering etc. At that resolution 1680*1050 i would get a GTX560 Ti/GTX570/ HD 6950

I can run the game well at HIGH or Auto settings but i did notice a DIP in framerates and textures starting to flicker at ULTRA but i do know the beta doesn't reflect on Ultra cuz it's actually running HIGH eventually. But the final version would be a different story. Not sure if i wanna wait. Tempted to get the GTX 560Ti 2gb at best buy and then SLi it down the road cuz it would outperform a GTX 570 if i am correct.

Or otherwise i can buy a GTX 570 and Sli it but i think the GTX 560Ti would cool more since it's smaller and the performance is great i am sure to max things out. I need to find benchmarks on these cards.

Looks like i might have to go ahead and make a thread and sell my EVGA GTX 460 SC. Hate to see it go
post #115 of 132
Well lets just say that right now i can run BF3 on medium fine with my 5850 at 1200p and 1080p. SO a single gtx560ti 2tb will definitely do high Settings just fine. With overclock you can probably get ultra with some stuff tweeked down.

Yeah for your res it's fine. Will do awesomely up to 1920x1080p a tad more res than your running atm. Though at the res anything with 1GB VRAM or more is fine, you'll feel good knowing your covered for down the road with 2GB.

Wierd but the Best Buy box says only GTX 560 but the add says GTX 560Ti. Wonder why the discrepancy? Double check that, but if it's listed at "TI" it most likley is regardless what the new white box says.

I bought a Western Digital Cavair 1TB at Best Buy and when opened it was actually the "Black" version, even better.

I agree normally prices are higher at Best Buy, have to compare shop before purchasing though as somtimes it's at the right price and only on rare occasions lower.

Pull the plug, pull the trigger, scratch the itch.

Over clock it and sit back and enjoy gaming.

Only good thing about consoles is that they are always there whenever we PC users feel like bashing on them.

I know it's odd. Someone made a thread about Best Buy and this fella looked closer on the website. I don't know why they are showing a GTX 560 when the title says GTX 560Ti. I just don't wanna make a mistake but i might get the card. Gonna hold back a lil bit. No idea if Black Friday will change the price in November?

Hold on lemme get the link for you.

Here ya go guys.

Cuz it's pointless to wait for 600 series cuz i know they're gonna be extremely expensive and they ain't even out. I wanna play Batman dx11 to the fullest eye candy ever especially getting a free Batman game lol.

Besides BF3 that is. Sure i don't mind SLi this card with the same card i have but i cannnot seem to find a clean new retail version instead of having to deal with buying a used one and i don't like used cards cuz i don't know if they work that well. There are 2 at least the ones i have exactly the same on amazon.com but still undecided.

I might as well sell it i guess. I don't know. I suck at making decisions lol.
I read somewhere that you can mix and match the GPUs, so you could get a 1 Gb. to SLI with your current 768 Mb. card At least, that's what I read...
