Well I'd hardly call one person with 4 posts and no rep a good source of info reliable. Though it may have happened to him, it's one card.

I can tell your still on the wire of decisiveness. At the end of the day, you've got to feel good about your purchase. It's not a car or house but money dosen't come easy, so I can understand your plight.

Another option is GTX 560Ti and SLI another down the road.

An over clocked GTX 570 @890Mhz Core is a stock GTX 580 @772Mhz performance. Either reference or non-reference can get you there.
