Battlefield 3 recommendation gpu? - Page 10

I was going to get the 570, the price has now gone up and it's £55 more than a 560 Ti 2GB or a 6950 2GB. Looking at the performance difference it doesn't look like the 570 is worth that much more.

Actually personally I think I'm more likely to regret getting a slower card with extra vram that I probably won't even need, than spending a bit more for a faster one. I think I'll still get the 570.

560Ti SLI would not only smoke the 570, it would destroy a single 580 too.

The Ti is only a little slower than a single 570. If you compare one of the highly OC'd Tis to the refernce 570s (that didnt OC well), they are remarkably close in performance.

But yeah, Ti SLI would max out BF3 at any resolution up until you encountered a VRAM issues (then get the 2GB version).

The best value right now would be 2x 570s in SLI. BF3 scales really well with SLI.

It would be a nice card. However on the bright side you can SLI down the road and have plenty vram and GPU power.

So I say go for it.

Will i have bottlenecks or is it ok with the resolution i am right now currently running? Just wanted to double check. I do have a 1080p monitor but it's a 60hz sitting on my shelf. I use it only for cable or Blu Ray movies lol.
