Recommend watts to run GTX 570 sli

My pc specs
i7 2600
16 GB DDR3
Gigabyte motherboard z68-ud7-b3
2 1TB WD green drives
1 500GB WD blue drive
1 DVD combo drive
1 Gigabyte GTX 570

I want to add another gtx 570
I already have a gigabyte PSU 720w
What's the recommended power and which is better (antec,coolmaster,thermaltake)

Id recommend 650 + for sli also if you are getting a new psu Corsairs are really nice

But when in doubt try this out

I am going to agree with andrew and say the better/safer bet would be a 750W quality power supply, especially if the OP is going to overclock anything. 2 580 3GBs can with a i7 940 can easily reach 900W+

750 would do the job well

The TP New 750, Antec HCP 750, XFX XXX edition are all quality units, check the link above.



THe corsair Ax series are all modular I believe, they share the same internals as the Seasonic X series, but they're little cheaper I think. The antec or corsair would be a good choice, even the cheaper XFX would do the job very well.

750W. 800W better still to overclock. 650 W is too little.
