Look at the AX850 if you ever plan or think you may plan to sleeve it.

Why is this thread so long. He has an HX850, yes, it'll be enough. No need to discuss.

If he plans to heavily overclock everything and do benching or Folding, he may come to the boundary of what his power supply can handle. So yes it is important to discuss.

The HX850 will provide more than 850W if is it has to. This assumes that both the CPU and GPU are heavily overclocked and at 100% load. This only happens during Furmark.

So even in the worst case scenario, furmark, the HX850 is sufficient.

Any quality 850 watt PSU will be plenty.

There are better PSU's out there than the HX850 as well.

Seasonic X-Series 850w
Corsair AX850
Enermax Modu87+ 800w
Enermax NAXN 82+ 850w

This thread will learn you up good.

Is it still enough if I use the new EVGA 580 Classified 3GB SLI (not overclocked) with i7-920 4.2Ghz (overclocked)?

Thanks a BUNCH to everyone who responded, I did not expect so many responses so fast, i'll serve you all to cookies I'm still deciding, I may go for a bigger PSU just to be on the safe side, but I'm still pretty indecisive. Also, I read that modular PSUs are great to have, so maybe I'll find a good deal on a modular PSU thats even more wattage? hehe
