Yes... the AMD GPUs need a core... if they don't get one, they will cripple the SMP performance to a level worse
that what it would have if it was using one less core.

Then set the affinity for the two fah whatever executables for the GPU folding client to core 3. I don't think two ATI cards will overwhelm the one core and impede their progress.
No need for affinities with Win 7 and Core16; they work well together.
