Is this a good Overclock?

Thread Starter
I've run IBT on very High for 10 runs about 3 or 4 times, run 20 runs of LinX but have yet to run Prime95 (was checking temps on the other two first)

Sat at 4.5 @ 1.056v ... does this seem good?

Very good! Looking forward to seeing if it can survive 12 hours of Prime95.

Needs more prime 95 for 12 hours btw can I get that wallpaper?

That's very good, hopefully it remains stable at that voltage, because that's actually very low. I'd run P95 Blend for at least 12 hours as the user above said.

Cpu-z doesn't read the correct voltage, instead it reads the VTT, try using gigabyte Easytune to read the 'real' voltage under load.

To be honest, I did set the voltage to 1.35 to try @ 4.5ghz but some setting has obviously dropped it back down, even though I disabled all of C1E and the usual crap energy saving stuff in BIOS.

12 hours of Prime95 here we come!

Marvin, PM me your e-mail addy and i'll send over the WP

Oh I didn't know that. Will download EasyTune now (cant be bothered to dig out the CD) and will re-run IBT for 10 runs

ET6 shows the CPU (not sure if this is different from vcore) @ 1.392 at idle and shoots to 1.452 underload which is obviously a little too high for 4.5 Ghz ... what should I be looking at changing?

For 4.5 I'd start it at around 1.26/1.27v, and work your way up until it stops BSODing.
