You can buy a Windows 7 OEM license for around $30 or so at some of the legit CD key sites (I forget which ones are legit though). That'd put you at about $50 over your $500 budget, and you'd have a FAR superior and future proof rig.

well thanks for the advice but im going to stick with that kit for now and the psu is supposed to be pretty good, i read reviews on some after finding it and i guess the only prob is that the wires require a hard push to function. as long as it lasts me through high school im fine, cuz then i'll have a real job and some real money to get a real computer lol. im pretty sure anything is better than my current build lol

thanks for pointing out the nvidia card, ill probably use that instead

i love the rig in my sig and i cant wait i jus picked up a new phenom II x4 955 for $100 bucks on ebay so i should be able to play most games out there with my current rig i can play crysis warhead on almost max settings and can play most games on medium to low settings but im more into ps1 and ps2 emu and c&c 4 including my new cpu i have a total of
600 in my rig and now i can buy another motherboard and 4 gigs ram and use my old cpu for my dads gaming rig and i love gskill ram i have the ripjaws not the x's but my bro got some and i tryed it and i couldnt overclock half of what im at now so if your looking for cheap priced good ram take a peek at those

If you have a motherboard that allows good FSB/baseclock overclocking, you can OC any chip. For each series of chipset/CPU, this can be more or less true.
