CPU-Z Validations http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=2028978
System:
Corsair GS700W PSU
AMD Althlon II X4 635 Am3
Asus m4a79xtd EVO Mobo
4 2gb Kingston 1600mhz With Heat Sinks
Dual Asus ATI 5670 1gb ddr5 Xfired.
500gb WD C.Black
2Tb WD C. Green
Using Bios To OC. Prime 95X64 for tests.
Windows 7 X64 Pro

Problem i Get is Comp crashed using prime 95x64 under blend (heavy Memory tests) computer shuts down and reboots. I've tried numerous different Memory Clk changes like 6-6-6-24 ; 6-8-6-24 ; 7-7-7-24/22 ; 8-8-8-24/22.
and nothing. on some of these i forgot which ones, when my computer boots up, i get Memory R/W Error 8gb installed, 5gb ish allowed. it's like 1.5 gb dissapears... I gotta reboot and i'll jot down my voltages and bios settings, i dont' know how to screen capture the bios screen like some of these guys do it. Any Help would be appreciated greatly. A Noob at this

Is that 4 sticks? do you have the manufacturers specs for them ram as well. That would be helpful for us With 4 sticks and a overclocked cpu/nb your going to have to take it off auto and increase the voltage on the cpu/nb. I would try that first.

Couple things.HTT is too high, around 2100MHz is where you want it for now. You need 1.355v on the HTT.NB needs 1.25-1.3v.CPU/NB is too low, but ok for now. You will need to increase CPU/NBv , try around 1.45v.Your RAM may need more voltage as well.

Kingston KHX1600c9d3k2/4gx (2 sets making 8gb or 4 2gb chips)

http://www.valueram.com/datasheets/K...C9D3K2_4GX.pdf <url to memory data sheet.

again, the only reason my HT is that high, is because my Bios shows 2000mhz under CPU Information. should i believe the Bios section info? or set it to 2000mhz and believe what amd overclock and cpu-z say it is? Thanks for the insight!

did you saw that hgher HT link makes your pc run worst ... check amd memory or cpu section for more info!... "lower your HT link the better speed w/o overclocking and with overclocking as well"!

use 1.5v to cpu (for 7/24 usage) and make it 3.5ghz and use 9-9-9-24/27 1.65v to ram
cpu/nb voltage to 1.35v and HT link between 1900-2200 range! never go over 2200 (you think it will run better with 2550 "NO" never it will drop your performance with 5-10% depend on what you are using your cpu)...

http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=2030488 <--- New Validation.

So far... booting up quick and no issues. i did find that 2 of my sticks are XMP ready? or whatever it's called, some people have complained that it's limited to a 7-7-7-20 clock setting? Don't know how true it is so i set it to that point, so far so good, i'll run prim95 tonight and see my luck. Any More advice would be great!

Edit: Failed Settings

spoke too soon. Computer started crashing, not booting, then rebooting lol. freaking a. dropped NB freq to 2080 to match the HT freq (2080) memory back at 9-9-9-27. Any Advice? here's new Validation incase ya'll need it.:

Thanks for any help!

Start bumping the CPU voltage in small steps, stress again.

I usually bump it in 0.01v steps to find something stable, then bump it down by 0.001v steps to find the lowest stable voltage.
