Best HD 6970?

Which one would you say is the best?

Also, the card needs to be capable of easy Crossfire, so that 3-Slot Asus 6970 isn't an option.

Right now I'm leaning towards the HD 6970 Lightning though.

Also ignore that Sig Rig, I'm making two versions right now, one with a HD 6970 and one with a GTX 580...later I've got to figure out how to keep the GTX 580 build under $1800 with a boot SSD.

Also, what's the best case under $170?

My favourite 6970: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127581

The case depends on what you need

I personally am getting the thor v2 (10 slots for $130 + lots of fans)

but in that price range a popular choice is the nzxt phantom.

What about the HAF 922? Will it cool an OC HD 6970 (possible Crossfire in the future) and an OC i5-2500K?
As long as you have a non-reference cooler you should be fine, plus then you won't have to have a jet engine in your ear.

Okay, even though this is the "AMD" section, will the HAF 922 fit a GTX 580 lightning or no? It is 12 inches long...

Also, will the Hyper 212 Plus fit in the HAF 922?

I am pretty sure they will mention what card fits in the 922 @ the CoolerMaster website, do some research on it. It should fit, the 580 isnt monstrously long like the 6970 Lightning.

The Hyper 212 plus, fits in anything.

I have the HAF 912 and I could fit ~14" worth of a GPU in there.
