That is not the only opton. Use the DVI-VGA adapter is the best available option in your situation. VGA is not that bad and you might not even notice the difference.

NO, WON'T WORK. The one in Amazon is Male-Female HDMI and Male-Female DP does not meet the requirement Monitor Male DisplayPort ---> Female DisplayPort-to-DVI Male Adapter ----> Female DVI PC Card..


Your best bet which available is DVI-VGA adapter
