Klipsch Mode M40

So I have the opportunity to get the new Klipsch Mode M40 headphones for free in the next couple of weeks, as I know someone with a large amount of money invested in the company. If you haven't heard of these headphones, here they are: http://www.klipsch.com/klipsch-mode-...ing-headphones . Anyways, he offered me a chance to have these headphones, and while it seems like a no-brainer, I do not want to waste them since he only has a few to give out. My question is how do you guys think these will perform for gaming purposes? My contact has already given me a set of x10i's which I absolutely love, so I will not be using these headphones for much besides gaming and desktop use. Should I go for the offer? What other equipment should I get, (such as a sound card) since I don't have any other audio hardware for my computer? Any input would be awesome, and no I'm not going to sell/trade these for different headphones. I would also like to add in that I am very new to high quality audio and listen to rock/metal and dubstep if that changes anything. Thanks in advance.

bump. I haven't seen much about these, as they haven't been released yet, but it seems that the general consensus is that they are marketed against beats studios. When I say this, I don't mean that they are in the same price category, I mean that the designers probably spent more time on the looks, in order for the consumer to think they sound the way they are priced. What do you guys think?

Ok, so he ended up getting me the image one's since he was unable to get the unreleased m40's early. So far, these headphones are amazing! I played some call of duty with them, and it was really cool to be able to know where people are on the map by just listening to them shoot. Is there anyway that I can make this even better, ie: software, sound card, etc.?
