RAM and Motherboard Compatibilty Issue?

Thread Starter
Building my new PC , and just came across quite a little discovery , My RAM - RIPJAWS 4GB DDR3 is 1600 Mhz , however my motherboard manual says , the RAM slots on the board are compatible only with 1066Mhz and 1333 Mhz RAM Modules , Its is a Asus P8H61 !

Any help would be greatly appreciated , because iam a little scared right now..!

Thanks and Rgds

Put it in and see. It should work and its speed will downgrade into 1333 MHz.

It should be fine,it just means that is as fast as your board can run at stock settings.Any ddr3 should work.
