Today, Fusion-io announced its next generation ioDrive, delivering more capacity, enhanced enterprise reliability and better performance at a lower cost. With so many companies jumping on the flash memory bandwagon, the new ioDrive reiterates Fusion-io’s leadership in storage memory innovation. The Fusion-io MLC ioDrive2 and ioDrive2 Duo will be offered in 365 GB, 785 GB, 1205 GB and 2.4 TB capacities, beginning in late November 2011, followed by SLC products in 400 GB, 600 GB and 1.2 TB capacities, with the first product run already committed to key customers and partners.Pricing for Fusion’s new ioMemory platform starts at a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $5,950 U.S.

They lost the leadership with the newest OCZ revo... but they still arent bootable and priced at an enterprise level.

If you think a Revo comes anywhere close to the performance of a Fusion-IO drive you are sadly mistaken. The low queue depth performance isn't anywhere near close.

And honestly I couldn't care less if it was bootable or not.

Only at QD <4:

If you run a database or a mail server the Fusion duo is still the best option

Edit: i wasnt sure of the name, I meant the z-drive, not the revo.
