How many wattage does this build need?

Thread Starter
A friend of mine just purchased a:

Gigabyte 970A GA-730A
AMD Phenom II X6 - 3.2 ghz
16 gb Kingston Ram
Radeon 6870 1GB
1x 7200 RPM 32cache 500GB SATA HDD
1x CD/DVD ROM
1x Naga Mouse
1x Keyboard
1x Headset

Will this run on a 650W PSU?

It's not booting to the motherboard screen, but it makes some noise and nothing comes up. We're trying to decide whether to RMA motherboard or buy a stronger PSU.

What is the EXACT PSU model? You could say 650w but if it's say a crappy CM unit it could be outputting ohhhhh 400w if that...

How "much" wattage.

Other than that - use "psu calculator" (google it). It's a gorgeous tool that tells you exactly how powerful PSU you need.
