Overclocking CF 5870's, help?

Hey guys, originally all i had for a GFX card was a single XFX 5870 Non-reference. Due to it being a Non-ref card, i was only ever able to do a 900core/1225mem OC as it would lose stability at any higher memory clocks.
Voltage control is a no-go since XFX used a cheaper VRM than the stock reference one.

I got a second 5870 several months ago, A Sapphire Reference 5870, which has core voltage control. Up until recently i stayed away from Overclocking my graphics cards because of screen tearing issues caused by ATI powerplay when more than one monitor is used. I recently discovered that i could override powerplay with MSI AB, so ive been doing some testing with 3dmark 11.

So far i have had a stable run with this:
Processor at 4.2GHz (21x multi with turbo on)
Primary graphics card (sapphire ref) : 960core/1313mem 1.187vcore
Secondary card (xfx non-ref) : 910core/1216mem (1225mhz memory freq on this card interrupts my NIC for some reason )
these settings got a score of P8931

So I'm asking here to see if anyone knows what kind of numbers i can get with the reference card. going to try a run with these settings:
Primary card: 1003core / 1313mem 1.2vcore
Secondary card: 910core / 1250mem
and see what happens...

Your OC result is not bad with Sapphire Card. XFX Card is quite low because you can only go 60 MHz higher than stock. Yeah, I know it has no Voltage Control.
But I think you should adjust the OC to the same frequency.
I heard if you run two GPU at different clock speed, the faster one will perform like the slower one. But of course you can check it by yourself. I've just read about that from an older thread.

About the score, sorry I can't really say anything because I don't use synthetic benchmark.

Well the highest score i could pull from it was P8964.
This non-ref card is really holding me back......
