Game doesn't seem to have very stiff requirements, I'm guessing this is more of a fix than boost?

Not sure what it fixes but my driver version is still 11.10. Wish I had looked at all the version info before I installed it.

Is this a full driver release or just a hotfix?

I'm on older drivers, and I can't even get RAGE to launch from Steam; hoping this will help, but not sure if I should be on latest official release (11.9?) or not.
