I live in the US, recommend me service, phone

Thread Starter
I live in Northern California, and in November I will need to start a new service and get a new phone, I currently have T-Mobile. Would MetroPCS be the best for a single person plan? If not, recommend me others?

Now I were going Metro PCS, whats the best phone I can get with these features:

1. Can be used like a iPod/Music player
2. Good camera/recording feature
3. touchscreen
4. not too expensive, under $150, good bang for the buck
5. online web surfing

I was thinking the Samsung Admire. Also does Metro PCS offer any discounts if your a first time customer, user of them?

i dunno about phone but when i move i always look to see which service have the most towers near my house/work/wherever i go
and i usually pick that one
I would look at who offers the best service coverage in your area and probably in the area where you go for work and frequent often........
Like Mr. Pie said, you should look at coverage first. Most of the smaller providers, such as MetroPCS or SimpleMobile rent lines from bigger providers, but only serve the metropolitan areas. If you frequent the suburbs often, then smaller providers are not for you.

What makers MetroPCS, SimpeMobile or Virgin special is that they come with no contract. If that's important to you, your choices are smaller.

It all depends on your area and the coverage provided there. If you frequently travel then you should consider AT&T or Verizon as they have the most coverage around the country. If you mainly stay near larger cities I might consider Sprint.

Coverage was never a problem, but I decided to go with Metro PCS, since it is cheaper for a single line, and comes with all features I need for the cheapest plan.

So what would be a good phone for me, with the requirements I listed at OP?
