well right now, with arm based tablets like those, you will be limited to the android that is already on it, eventually a some one will come out with a custom rom for it based on android. afaik, no one has successful opened up the bootloader to install like a arm port of a linux distro yet.

i guess you can get a used netbook, flip the screen on it, and get a $60 capactive/resistive touch screen from ebay for it and hook it up, and have a tablet pc that way
