Exactly. Dragon Age2 also got "95%" and "Editors Choice" from various reviews, I rarely pay attention to review sites.

You do that.

Been sniffing around the net for the last hour. If you plan on getting is, i strongly suggest you look at getting the console version instead :/

Oh boy, trusting anything IGN says is a BIG no no in my books. They get paid off behind the scenes for favorable reviews and they tend to give out extremely generous/favorable reviews like water.

I hope joystiq is wrong, but the second I see someone defending something using IGN a hug red flag goes up in my mind.

EDIT: Why the hell was this thread moved from video game news to video game general? Moderators, care to explain?

I knew this game was overhyped. The graphics are also pretty average, nothing like all the pre-release stuff. I was right!
Never planned on getting this anyway, I'm pretty bored with shooters and this seemed disappointing to me anyway.

I hope this streak doesn't continue. If H6MM and Skyrim flop I'm spending all the money that I would have spent on those games on indies. Just recently I got "The binding of isaac" and it's terrific.

My how rumors spread like wildfire on the internets. IF it is at all remotely true, you'd be a fool to think IGN is the ONLY site being paid off.

4/5 is 80%. There's nothing wrong with DA2 getting that for a review. It was a solid game. C to B quality material.

Bethesda and affiliates have been doing very poor lately, I'm worried they might even sink. I hope Skyrim is good and will save them, but they need to make the store bought copy non Steam first. Maybe their bad luck of late will have them reconsider and profit from those who would have held out from things like forced use of Steam.
