This is due to the liquid in the heatpipes working against gravity. Plus the Raven needs external exhaust GPUs due to the lack of side window fan.

These ^.

Assume the system going into the new case is your sig rig.
Then, simply put, if your Gigabyte 6970 is pic 1 (non reference cooling), go with Corsair 650D.
If your Gigabyte 6970 is pic 2 (reference cooling), go with RV03.

(I have not voted because I do not know which HD6970 you have)

This is a matter of choice between complexity and simplicity. Go for the case that would give you the least headache smile.gif

I'd go RV02, the RV03 is a bit tight inside for my tastes. Sure it has a whole heap of nice design features, but the RV02 is simply more spacious inside.

650D. RV-02/03 have too many issues, and the cable management is horrid compared to corsair's recent efforts.

Outside of Fractal, nothing compares to the clean look you get with Corsair cases.

650D, I just made up my mind, the one issue that bothered me with the 650D was teh internal usb 3 header...but an adapter is like $15 and solves it. Besides...teh 650D is a gorgeous case. wink.gif

thanks for the post in my thread btw +rep smile.gif

they are both fine cases. RV03 will be a better air cooled case while 650D provide better options if you intend to go liquid somewhere down the road.
