I have it on, it just keeps stress down I suppose. Though really SpeedStep is much more beneficial to laptops than desktops really...

Off, seems to help with stability aswell as i dont have to worry about the bios overvolting the cpu @ idle

I don't see how speedstep is going to overvolt cpu when it steps the cpu down, When mine kicks in on my I7-2600k it is reading .9 volts at 1.6 ghz. Currently running it at 4.2 ghz folding.

I have to turn mine off cause I'll get condensation if cpu runs too cool. If I didn't have that problem I'd leave it on to conserve power though. There's just no point in running at 4.x ghz all the time when you aren't utilizing the bandwidth.

It depends. If I'm OCing with offset, I turn it off. If I'm OCing with manual, I turn it on.
