The 7-series will be the new arch.

The 6 series will impose some "fixes" and be a revision of the 4/5 series, however.

Worth it? Yeah, if you've got the $$$$. Worth drooling over? Nope.
That's bit of a let down tbh . May hold onto my GTX470 for that bit longer then, maybe buy a 2nd and SLI when they drop below £100 on ebay.

edit: unless ofc there is a significant performance increase to warrant the expenditure. The priceerformance ratio of the GTX570 wasn't worth it for me. If the GTX670 is close to 150% the performance of my GTX470 then I'd be tempted.

Don't know why everyone keeps posting that roadmap. What does it have to do with anything related to drivers?

Samples went out last week...If I'm under an NDA one would only logically come to the conclusion that my office, being a vendor, has several samples...I could be on one right now, actually...

For those of you that PM'd me, I'm not giving out any information/benches etc.

Just what you've read so far...It is a Fermi refresh on a smaller dye and just like the 4-series to the 5-series, it will be an increase but, I foresee Maxwell overtaking Kepler regardless so, personally, I'll wait.

That's not to say it won't be worth it...4->5 was overall a 15% "update" in most situations so, this may be more, it may not be...Up to you to decide if it's worth it or not.

I'm sorry but your only saying stuff that's already been floating about the web for the last month. The samples you speak of is well known for the mobile chips, since i actually posted this in the news section sometime ago. Maxwell is bound to overtake Kepler since it's Keplers successor. You work for Alienware?

Hmmm so seems like it'll be a 7950 for me, then maxwell in a couple years. I like.

Huh? were you planning for either a 28nm fermi mobile gpu or a 7950? I'd def. take the 7950 too in that case.
