Just a quick one. I only took a few shots and I left the protective paper on the red front panel. I imagine the owner will show us more. His plan is to put a piece of laser cut black metal over the face...should look very nice.
ScytheNoire specified the out-of-the-ordinary form factor and design. I just built it to spec.
I like that red...it's very deep and pure and translucent.
I drilled double mounting holes...32 of the bastards...and tapped them. I think that took longer than building the thing
The reason is to give Scythe the option of mounting it with or without the 2mm thick metal panel and still have the holes line up and the face be flush with the front panel bezel.
Anyway, have a look and if you need a res built you best make your order in the next month...it will soon be too cold for me to do this sort of acrylic work out on the shop.
