[DT] Zune Players Are Officially Dead - Page 10

They are probably discontinuing the Zune HD and going to release a new Zune product. That is if they actually keep it alive. I hope so, Ive had one of each Zune, and never an issue with any of them. I even had my 80GB Gen2 soaked in water for days (sat it in my cup holder in my car that I didnt know had about 2in of water in it) and it didnt do anything to it.

This could be. I was in a Microsoft store a couple months ago after they had taken down the Zune originals store online. I asked the guy if they were discontinuing the ZuneHD and he said they were. I then asked him if they were going to make another Zune and he said he could neither confirm nor deny anything. But the way he said it sounded like he knew something. I'm choosing to be optimistic that they will make another Zune.

Say what you will, I love my Sandisk Sansa Fuze 8GB with 8GB card (16GB total). Been using Sandisk since my Sansa E260 in 2007. Always reliable. I used to throw my E260 at the ground and stuff, I couldn't get it to break. It got stolen and I got a Fuze. Still loving it.

And only now my Zune 30 has started to randomly switch off. It's so good.

As an owner of multiple iPods and a Zune I must say...The zune was superior in all aspects.
Zune was a nice little device but lacked all the apps and the appeal that ipods have.

I have a zune HD but i probably wont use it at all once I get a smaller phone.

Droid X is a bit too big to strap on your arm while running lol.

Eh I always bought my MP3 players to play mp3s, I had an android phone for apps. In the end Zune and ipod > all.
