What exactly does "worldphone" mean ?
CDMA/GSM in one handset just like every other Blackberry ever, and many Android phones now as well.

By about 3 - 5%, this is a normal occurrence with new announcements, happens every year.

Siri, iCloud, etc. are all software, I was referring more to the hardware aspect. The fact is that the iPhones lag severely behind in CPU/GPU power, but Apple plays this up and tout the A5 as the 990X of phones. The camera is overhyped as well. "1080p! 1080p!" There's still no reason not to have LTE.

Look at MacRumors. Look at the number of people viewing this thread right now. Hell I've had a couple of friends text me and ask if I'm watching the keynote. This is a very minor update and they have a full-blown THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING event.

No wonder they're trying to ban the Galaxy S2.
This exactly.

Sorry to say but they didn't do anything that Android doesn't already do. Siri is basically an app that has been on the android market for quite a while. Microphone integration into the touch keyboard has also been on since...2.2 Froyo.

Here is a quick list of what some of the Android Voice Commands let you do:

1. Make a Phone Call
2. View a Map of Places Around You
3. Start Navigation (voice guided) to a Location
4. Send a Text Message
5. Write & Send an Email
6. Play Some Music
7. Send a Written “Note to Self” Message
8. Find a Website Online
9. Look up a Definition
Dual core this or that...uh yes that was expected at least. Every phone manufacturer is doing that. 4G, where have you been the last 6 months Apple. Cloud backups and integration...Google. Someone tell me I am missing something here...oh, dual antenna's...so they can save on manufacturer costs by not having to produce different phones for different carriers. Smart move if you plan on switching carriers with your phone often

The iphone5 mockup I saw floating around would have been the ticket and something actually cool...rehash of what they had already with newer hardware? Hardly "innovation".

After checking the specs and picture of the presentation on Engadget, seems like Apple improved the camera and video function the most and not much other things. (speed too I guess). Processor is a dual-core now, but rumors of 1GB ram seems false, and nothing else is different when checking here:

Kinda disappointed personally. Considering how much I was hoping to get the next iphone, I guess ill get the galaxy II at this rate..

I........ I just don't..... I am at a loss for words.

No 4g LTE? That is a huge mistake IMO. iOS5 looks promising, but its worthless without the correct radio.

Glad it's on Sprint, I'll probably sell my 3DO and get it. The only thing I care about is battery life, and my phone handles that task abysmally. I need to constantly be updated on my work email, and I can't even keep my 3DO on WiFi because it drains too fast.

ehhh.

i'm underwhelmed. it's more incremental, and apart from siri/the camera it doesn't look that great. if you have a 3GS it'd be good but a 4. eh.

not really impressed at all. that and iOS 5 doesn't bring much new to the table that i'd find helpful apart from wireless updates which has been done by other OSes for, well, years now.

Next year will probably be the big release, reminds me of Intel's Tick/Tock schedule, eh?
