Here's why people are under whelmed, we already knew what was going to be announced.
Check out this post from 2 MONTHS ago from my "Should I choose an iPhone 5 or Android phone" thread.

All these specs bring them up to date with what the Galaxy S2 already offers, except for the bigger screen. In a few months, upcoming Android phones are going to surpass the GS2 & 4S on all fronts, maybe as early as next Tuesday with the Nexus Prime and its 1.5GHZ Dual Core, 720p 4.5" screen, running Ice Cream sandwich.
LOL, a buddy of mine just sent me this email, he was having buyer's remorse after getting the iPhone 4 a couple weeks ago, when I told him the iPhone 5 was coming out shortly, and mentioned the "leaked specs"....

I'm just guessing you're dissappointed man? I'm glad I went with the iPhone 4 now instead of waiting. That was pretty lame of Apple to allow so much hype and expectation around the iPhone 5 and then burst everyone's bubble with what essentially is a really minor update on the iPhone 4. I mean the camera is nice and the dual core processor which we knew was coming, but its the same phone with tweaks. The Galaxy S2 already has a 1080p camera and a Dual Core as well. The whole SIRI thing is nothing new, it should work just fine on a plain iPhone 4.
After our little chat I was feeling a bit of buyer's remorse about jumping in when I did, but I can live with the 4 until the real 5 comes out...
