One the A5 SOC/gpu is more powerful than the exynos by far. The ram is the same. 960x640 IPS vs what? 800 pixels on a bigger screen.

What do you care... if the gpu actually WAS better on the exynos??... iOS has way better 3d gaming than Android.

iOS seems to have the developers and the games...

Android is for gaming a lowest common denominator situation.

How is that possible considering the size of the phone is the same, so wouldnt the battery also be similar to iphone 4? Since the CPU is now the same one as the ipad, hard to think the battery life would be longer.

It's using both antennas at the same time. It's switching to the antenna with better reception. It's to fix the iphone 4 antenna issue. This issue happens on a lot of phones though so in no way am I bashing them apple. Figured I would clear that up before I post

Looks like I'll be out of my ATT contract just in time for an iPhone 5 launch next year. Awwwwww yeah.

The 4S upgrades look nice, and the 4's design really is the best looking phone out there. If I were coming off a 3GS I'd have no complaints shelling out for this phone.

Here's the keynote, in case anyone wants to watch it.

The back of the phone will still be glass

They recovered. Hopefully tomorrow they'll be back on track.

Run each antenna at a different frequency at the same time. Apple is the one who reported double the speeds, so they obviously figured out a way to make it work.

Yes it is.

The same way a modern dual-core laptop has better battery life than a Pentium 3 laptop - efficiency/architecture improvements.

If you take a fast processor and clock it down a bit, it can consume less power than a slow processor at regular clock speed. Not to mention, if you need less computing time because the processor is faster, then that's less "battery eating" time.

Where have you been the last 15 years?

The Nokia 9000 was released in 1996. I don't remember even seeing a locked version of it anywhere.

Either way, any GSM phone can be purchased unlocked. It's nothing new.

Will the iPhone 4 be able to work with ALL of the GSM bands out there? (AT&T, T-Mobile, etc).
