[Apple] iPhone 4S Announced! Event Thread - Page 49

Also, the Galaxy S2 thread is ------> that way.

Perhaps there's a dedicated thread for Android mall kiosk salesmen too, not sure.

If you were running a business making phones, which would be more important - making the fastest phone on the planet, or making the most money?

Even as a consumer there's more to consider than just speed. Otherwise I would have sold my iPhone4 a long time ago.

misinformed?

i have the said phones and use it myself, how is that misinformed?

sure i can use emulators for Nes, GBA, PSX, etc.. but honestly who would play those games on a touch screen?

i occasionally swap my phone with my cousin's iphone 4 and just holding it in your hands, you can immediately feel that it has better user experience

i also occasionally change custom rom(bugless beast, Chevy, Cyanogen, Liquid, Steel Droid, MIUI,etc...) on my android phone to see what the developments are so far

Most major developers develop for both mobile operating systems.
I think you misunderstood me. We're on the same side here.

What I'm trying to tell you is that they are thinking that Android's UI is "inconsistent" due to these things:

- Apps don't have a unifying UI (look at iOS apps - almost same layout to iOS itself)
- There are multiple flavors of the same platform, i.e. MotoBLUR, TouchWiz, Sense, etc.

When in fact, those are what we call variety. I would trade a little "consistency" with the flexibility of the Android OS to do what I want.

This is apple's business model. And it works fairly well for them paired with targeted marketing and the cheapest possible hardware they can get for the price(not saying the hardware is CHEAP, but that it allows their business model to work and profit).

I hate apple honestly. But as a business, they do fairly well. Not sure how long that may last though.

Answer me that.
I said the iPhone4 is a good phone. Did you read that?

I was wondering about the claim that the iPhone4 has a better user experience then android. So far no one can answer that.

And what is this better "user experience" that you are saying. Also which android phone do you have.

This is everyone's business model! It just happens that once in a while making the fastest phone on the planet and making as much money as possible happen to be the same thing.

Kind of like how Lamborghini always aims for performance while Toyota always aims for "make this thing run even if the owner never changes the oil". Those are two completely different ways of making sales, and they both work.
