It's not bad. But Tegra 2 can already pull that off so it's not all that impressive. Still pretty good.

What do you think of Tegra 3?

Blows this device away.

My old on-board GPU could probably play Crysis on max on a 3.5" screen but who wants that?

Yeah, but we're talking about a 326 PPI phone that has long battery life and doesn't overheat. And if it's running on that, it'll run on the more powerful iPad 2.

I actually don't think either of those examples are as great as Infinity Blade 2 -- I'd say the latter blew them away . Tegra 2 only has about a quarter of the graphics power of the iPad 2, and the Tegra 3 is only going to have graphics performance about equal to it -- so I have a hard time believing the Tegra 2 has games that look as good. Albeit, you can't see either my example or either yours clearly enough.

We're also talking about a smartphone here, not a slate. The iPhone 4S isn't as powerful as the iPad 2, only boasting up to 7x more graphics performance compared to 9x for the iPad 2.

We'll see reviews soon enough though. Both the 4S and the Tegra 3 are impressive nonetheless.

Tegra 3 is much stronger. Also how do u know 4S will not get hot under heavy gaming like IB2?

And if a lot of the Apple condoms broke during use, Apple would just call it a feature

...And we care about off-screen playback...why?

Source? The SGX543MP2 is seriously powerful, as I said, about four times that of Tegra 2. I don't know it won't, but knowing Apple, it won't.

All that means is they're able to use the same resolution across multiple devices that might have lower, or higher resolutions which means they can accurately compare them.

Thats GPU only. Think about the CPU too. Look at T3 demos. They offload the power because of having 4-Cores.

Yeah, I'm only talking about the GPU here. The Tegra 3's CPU will no doubt be better.

What do you mean it offloads the power?

I got more details from him, what he did was:
- Battery: Stock
- Rom: Lite'ning v5 XXKG2
- Kernel: Nymphetamine v2.0.5
- Clear Dalvik chace
- Cache partition
- Uninstall most of the bloatware.
- JuiceDefender
- Advanced Task Killer
- Of course he didn't use the phone much at all, the point was to see how long the battery could last with the minimal usage.

@ PhRe4k: How is that not a proof?

Not a huge fan of this iPhone, but it's not a failure. I was hoping they'd release the iPhone 5-- a new design-- but this is the exact same body as the other iPhones. Imop, they should of increased the display size, cut down on the weight, and slimmed it down a bit. I will say, however, if you're looking to pick up an iPhone, this is the one to get because of the faster processor, improved battery life, and better antenna. Siri does nothing for me, not a fan of talking to electronic devices.
