I wish the SGS II was a bit thicker which in turn could give it a larger battery. Shouldn't go much thicker then the base however. They surely could have fit a 1800+whr battery in it though. Thin phones don't even feel nice in the hand. And heck, technically, people use cases that significantly extend your phones width anyways.

There is an official Samsung 2000mAh battery for the GS2.

Alright, hold your horses. You can't base it off of 1 synthetic bench. It is no where near what you think it is.

Real world situations have it hang just above 2x faster performance. And even then, these benchmarks show the Tegra 2 drawing 237'568 more pixels.

Not saying the chip is crap, just reassuring you about reality.

I don't know it won't, but knowing Apple, it won't.

Apple has been known to offer horrific cooling solutions best left to ultra-cheap notebooks. Let alone, remember the iPad problems in direct sunlight? You can't expect any of their products to last under heavy loads under long periods of time.

Not in and of itself, but taking off useless battery draining apps after the phone is rooted can improve battery life. smile.gif ie bloatware, bloated UI (Sense, Touchwiz, etc)
