That is just not true. All recent smartphones are compatible with 64gb micro SD cards. You can stick one in a 32gb Galaxy S2 and have a total of 96gb of space. If your mind can fathom paying an extra few hundred quid to get an extra 47gb of memory from Apple. Then surely it is not much of a stretch to make an additional purchase, and get 64gb of space for a fraction of that on most other phones. Really sorry for being off topic, but misinformation just irks me sometimes.
As for being smaller. Thats great, but that also means the screen is smaller. For some people that is an annoyance.
This article says that they don't support them yet.
