Wow, I don't think my 580 has gone over 70 on air in bf3 yet @ 99% gpu usage. I did however tweak and create my own fan user profile in afterburner. I never hear the fans running though. But your temps look great. Sorry for my side rant lol.

GPU temps are fine. I have a pair of GTX580 and they both run around 77 air cooled (stock speeds).

GPUs can take a lot of heat too...so you're fine on both fronts

That seems high, my 580 when it was on air at 925/1.125v on auto fan topped out at 71-73c.

That was with bad air flow but the side door was normally off.

what temps are you getting now on water? mine goes up to 55C @ 900/2100 1.100V after a couple hours.

That's high? You haven't ever used the 470 then.. 95C easily during intense action with fans at 82%, 1080p resolution.

Switched to a 560ti, things are ridiculously cooler.

OP: Your temps are fine, I wouldn't waste money to watercool a system that already has very good air cooling. I'd rather save the money for a future upgrade.
