Resolution difference and tv difference, help please

Thread Starter
Hello, iv currently got a XFX 6850 running games at the native resolution of my pc monitor which is 1680x1050.

I have a HDTV that says HD Ready and HDMI on it, its bigger than my pc moniter too. I was thinking of using that for gaming instead of my current monitor.

Will i be able to put my HDTV to 1920x1050? and will it look better than my current normal PC Monitor?

Thanks

We need the specs for the TV, and your monitor for that matter. If it is a 1080p screen, you should be able to use it for gaming at that resolution. However, TVs tend to be less responsive than monitors, so usually a good monitor is preferable.

You definitely can. Set the LCD TV as a primary monitor. Games will only be available Fullscreen on primary display.
