From my experience Logitech and Steelseries mice both have great build quality. I got a good laugh reading the comments and seeing razer and good build quality in the same sentence.

Yes me too

But they are much improved since their first production which was really cheap and now they are pals the DeathAdder black edition that looks good build quality with good material selection but I think Logitech is always best to follow last good deal !

Otherwise do you think that the G500 is better built than the G9X ?

Bye I go sleeping

I second this but I find the shape just perfect. No mouse is perfect and you will have to get used to any new mouse.

Personally if you want a good quality mouse go pick up a Xai and a quality 4HD mouse pad and it will last you at the very least 5 or 6 years or more.

For pure durability? MX518. Mine's lasted 4 years, though I know people who have had theirs for 7yrs and it's still working fine.

I'll be replacing mine soon though as I've found the DPI lacking the last few months after I switched to 3240x1920 eyefinity.
