Which mouse has the best build quality in the world ? - Page 4

I've been through a lot of mice and I have to say the R.A.T 7 is pretty solid. I got mine last Dec and it's still as good as new. Now people will complain about the sensor but if you don't lift your mouse like me then it's not an issue. The only reason I'm looking for a new mouse is I'm a mouse addict looking for the perfect mouse. The RAT 7 is a pinch to wide for my smaller than average hands.

I took a gamble on this review and was pleased.

Wow. You beat me to it. Love my G5, it's still kicking butt. I don't even remember what I had before it I've had it for so long.

My G5 lasted me well over 5 years old and took abuse from myself and 6 other roommates over the years. Excellent mouse in terms of reliability.
I have a few friends around town who have Razer mice and they've gone through over 3 each in the last two years.

My G5 has been retired, now I'm between the G400 [tried the G500 and it was just ...] Sensei, or Kana.

I like my Gigabyte Ghost M8000X. Been very tough on that mouse and it still works perfectly.

I've got one and it still works really well. I'm not really a fan of it anymore but when I originally got it I loved the darn thing, I may give it away in the future if I decide to clean it thoroughly.

I have a g500 and I love it, I snagged mine of new egg for just a little over 40 bucks a couple weeks back.

I've also heard great things about the mx518 but from what I understand its a little dated by now

OP I say go with either of these based on personal experience and from god reviews.

The G9x does not fall into the same category as the others. The wheel on it tends to degrade because you can switch it back and forth between the low friction super-scrolling and normal tactile scrolling. Doing this a lot has caused my wheel to skip actuations on two different G9s. Also, the grip attachment mechanism is shoddy. After about 3-6 months of use the little spring loaded pins that hold on the grips will loosen and the grips will start to rattle.

I also had trouble with the scroll wheel on several Xais before I got one that worked properly. Again, the wheel would not actuate all the time when you scrolled over a tactile bump. At least two of them had dead spots on the wheel where the tick did not register.
