More info from ASUS PC Probe II and Core Temp. As you can see, Core Temp is the only app that shows what I set the vcore to in the BIOS (1.325v). The rest, including PC Probe, show 1.28v.

thats because 1.28v is where your voltage is after vdroop... its very common. You need to just set +.35v for the voltage you need in windows.

ie- if CPU needs 1.32v then you must set 1.36

At this point I think my RAM is holding me back. I'm able to increase voltage on the vcore, FSB, NB, even the RAM, and Windows boots and seems to run fine, but won't make it past a few minutes in Prime95.

The fact that my highest stable OC is a 400MHz FSB on PC6400 RAM is what has me thinking that's where the problem lies. Even increasing the voltage to the ram to 2.1v (I read a post from a Corsair rep on a forum somewhere stating the XMS2 DDR2 should be safe up to 2.1v) didn't help.
